The proposed Xolobeni mine is a project by Transworld, a wholly owned subsidiary of Australian corporation Mineral Commodities, and would be one of the largest titanium mines in South Africa. The proposed mine is located in the picturesque Wild Coast region of the Eastern Cape〔 and has reserves amounting to 348.7 million tonnes of ore grading 5% titanium.〔 ==Opposition== The proposed mine has led to other white people creating a division in the community, they formed the Amadiba Crisis Committee in 2007 where they were appealing the granting of mining rights by using people for their selfish end. Whites are also jealous of Xholobeni residence getting infrastructure and also getting local paying jobs that is what led to opposition because they enjoy taking a tour there to see people suffering because of poverty which makes it interesting to white people seeing poverty live.
